1) Noodle & Beer
Where: Spitalfields
Food: Sichuan
Do you like beer? Do you enjoy eating Asian cuisine? Then you’ve got a table reserved at Noodle & Beer. Among all its dishes, the Chongqing Xiaomian is the owners’ favourite: a bowl of noodles “packed with a delicate spicy aroma and intense flavours.” Simple and tasty. Who needs anything else?

2) Padella
Where: Borough Market
Food: Italian
Tagliarini with dried chilli, garlic, and pangrattato… Westcombe ricotta ravioli with butter and sage… Pappardelle with Dexter beef shin ragu cooked for 8 hours… Padella is the restaurant to go to if you want to taste authentic Italian cuisine! Its owners, Tim and Jordan, serve delicious dishes learned on their frequent trips to beautiful Italy in this bar.

3) Temper
Where: Covent Garden
Food: Mexican influence
It’s not always necessary to wait for nice weather to enjoy a good barbecue. Temper Covent Garden serves butchered meats, steaks, and traditional corn tacos made in-house. You’ll be able to sit around their open kitchen when you arrive. Your mouth will water as you watch the chefs prepare your meal.

Where: Marylebone
Food: Sri Lankan
Hoppers bring Sri Lanka’s rich culture to Marylebone. His recipes are inspired by the Tropical Modernist movement, which was founded by the late architect Geoffrey Bawa. Prepare to sample dishes and a cocktail menu made with the best ingredients from Sri Lanka’s gardens.
