In 1999, our founder arrived in London as a traveller, seeking the allure of the unknown. Mesmerized by the rich tapestry of cultures, the iconic landmarks, and the warmth of the people, this young boy from rural Yorkshire fell in love with the city. What was meant to be a short stay turned into a lifelong commitment.
Enamoured by the idea of creating a haven for fellow adventurers, our founder decided to make London his home. With a determination to share the magic of the city with others, he found work at a small hostel. Day by day, Jack soaked in the diverse stories of travellers from every corner of the globe.
As time passed, our founder worked tirelessly, progressing from a simple staff member to the dedicated manager of the hostel. His dream of fostering a community where people from all walks of life could come together was taking shape. In 2004, the culmination of years of hard work and dedication arrived as he managed to save up enough to purchase the hostel from its previous owner.
