Grind

There are currently six branches of Grind spread across the city. They vary in size, with the larger branches offering an all-day food menu to go with the excellent coffee they all serve. Despite being a brand, each Grind has its own distinct look, feel and personality, and in the evenings as well as coffee in trademark red cups they serve highly recommended espresso martinis. If you can’t enough of the coffee you can even take home a pack of their eco-friendly compostable coffee pods.
Lantana Café
Where: 13 Charlotte Place, London, Fitzrovia, W1T 1SN

It’s hard to think of something more Aussie than a Café names after the Lantana flower, and this place more than lives up to the name. Highlights of the menu include justly famous Aussie brunches and breakfasts featuring treats like freshly baked banana bread and vegemite on sour dough toast. If you’ve got too much planned to while away time in the café then you can grab some treats to go at Lantana Out located right next door.
The Slug @ Fulham
Where: The clue’s in the name – 490 Fulham Road, London, SW6 5NH
If you really want to be transported back home for a few hours then head straight to the Slug @ Fulham. Once you step through the doors absolutely everything you experience – from the drinks and bar snacks to the music being played and the pub grub classics turned out by the kitchen – has been chosen to make you feel like you’re living it up in a bar Down Under. They stay open until 2am between Wednesday and Sunday and there’s even a dance floor, so you’ve got no excuse for not partying the night away.
Granger and Co
Where: Across London, including Chelsea, Marylebone and Notting Hill

Click on the website for Granger and Co and you’re likely to be greeted with a sun drenched image of surfers catching a few waves, so there’s no doubt what kind of a vibe to expect. The first café from the owner of Grange and Co was actually based in Darlinghurst in Sydney, and the London versions reflect the same kind of laid back, easy going vibe, as well as the delicious Aussie cuisine. Different menus are offered through the day, and include a wide range of vegetarian options.
Daisy Green
Where: Local versions, each with a slightly different name (i.e. Johnny Green, Bondi Green) in areas around London

Australian coffee and food which has been carefully sourced and cooked fresh in-house is what you’ll find at Daisy Green’s venues. You’ll also find distinct and iconic venues, each with their own unique sense of style and fun, as well as delicious versions of the Aussie cake classic the Lamington, with boxes of cakes donated free of charge to frontline NHS workers across London every week since 2020.
